EDUCATION REQUIREMENT FOR REAL ESTATE
LICENSEES IN New York::
A renewal license will not be issued
unless the licensee completes 22½
hours of Department of State approved
continuing education within the two-year
period immediately preceding such
renewal. Continuing education must include at least three hours of instruction pertaining to fair housing and/or discrimination in the sale or rental of real property or an interest in real property.
The 3 hour "ADA Fair Housing" course below satisfies this requirement.
Please NOTE: New York requires no end-of-course exam to be pass for course approval but does have a review quiz to prove mastery of the course material. New York does require "seat-time" which means that students must be on the computer for the number of hours for course approval. That means a student must spend 60 minutes for each credit hour.
